You haven’t got to be an expert to take great photos, nowadays you can take really great photos with your phone, but if you do have a camera, which ever camera it may be, get it out and use it, you will find the quality of the photos will be greater than that of your phone and not just that, being able to hold a camera and look through a lens is the best way to introduce yourself  to this great world. There are many tutorials on the web that can help you with the basics. Photography is a world that is always developing, so there is always something new to learn. If anyone has any questions please ask me and I will try and help in any way I can. I started just like everyone else, as a beginner, but I progressively got better through education.
